Post subject: Reducing margins when printing Archived from groups: microsoft>public>excel>printing (more info?)
I posted this on the Macintosh section, as I am using 2008, but maybe it
would be better posted here.
I am trying to make a report which matches one in use already. The problem is
that when I print I have an annoying gutter on the right hand side and at the
bottom.
Margins are all set to zero. Header and Footer are all set to 'none'.
I am not printing - I am saving as a PDF. However, nothing seems to change
if I set the Page Attributes -> Format For:Any Printer to another printer.

OK, a couple of compromises solved this one. I gave up trying to fit things
into the default print area and used the 'set print area' option. With a bit
of a fiddle I managed to get the pdf to print without adding an additional
border in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Net result - it will do.
Thanks all"!
