Post subject: Recurring appointments shown on wrong day or date
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>calendaring (more info?)

I have an appointment that Outlook 2003 / XP shows on Tuesday the 18th in
monthly view. When I open the series it says:

"Occurs the third Monday of every 1 month effective 3/18/2007 from 6:00 PM
to 6:30 PM."

In another case, Dec 16 shows an appointment that Outlooks knows should
recurr:

"Occurs every December 14 effective 12/12/2004."

My calendar is riddled with errors like this.

I do sync two pc's with KeySuite and one of them with WM 6.1 phone
(Activesync on the phone can't keep 2 pc's sync'd). Still as Outlook plainly
says the appointment is on Monday I think it's an Outlook problem.

Thanks for any tips.

John

Are all appointments in the series showing on the wrong date or did these
appointments get turned into exceptions?

If its not an exception, reset the view.

Diane,

Thanks for the tip.

All of the appointsments were charted on the wrong day.

Resetting the view did correct the appointments that were on the 3rd Monday
but birthdays are still wrong; for example "every Feb 21" shows up on Feb
23.

Whoops!

That did not work after all; I normally do not compress the weekend and when
I reset the view, the appointment was in the block position where I expected
Monday to be, but it was in fact Tuesday.
