When I'm in the last column and last row and I press tab, it creates a new
row but when I try to type in that row I can't read it - it looks like it's
really really small. What am I doing wrong???

Hi Carolan,
Your problem description suggests the new row is being created with a very small font size. Word gets the attributes for the new row
from the end-of-cell markers for the previous row. Have you checked what point sizes those markers have been formatted with?
