Post subject: Public Folder Permissions not working for one user in Outlook 2003 Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>teamfolders (more info?)
Using Exchange Server 2003 and Outlook 2003. Both up to date with service
packs and patches. One user who has owner rights on two public folders, both
CONTACT lists, cannot see them in Outlook 2003. The error is "Unable to
display folder. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this
operation on this object." The user can see public folder CALENDARS in
Outlook with no problem. The user can also see and has full control over the
problem folders in OWA. Setting up Outlook on multiple machines and
accessing with the user account results in the same error so it's not related
to a specific installation of Outlook. This behaviour appears to have
changed from working properly when the user was working with public folder
forms. Ideas appreciated.
