Post subject: Problem pasting jpg file into cell Archived from groups: microsoft>public>excel>misc (more info?)
I have several excel files created in EXCEL 2003 where I have photos (jpg
files) pasted into cells. It has always worked fine for me. Now when I try
to copy into cells, the paste function is grayed out and does not allow. I
can past the copied file into a word doc, into another flder, etc. So I know
the copy is working. Also, I can copy a photo already included in the excel
worksheet to another cell in same worksheet. Just not from an external
folder.

Hi,
You are using 2003? Choose the command Insert, Picture, From File track
down the file and click Insert.
If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Thank you so much. I must have gone brain dead. I thought I had used
copy/paste and never even loked for another option. Must be a senior moment
thing!
