Post subject: Power Point 2007 templates
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>powerpoint (more info?)

I am using PPT 2007 with Win 7. I have a large number of templates that I
would like to add to ppt 2007. This has probably been discussed before, but
I have missed it in this newsgroup.

Can anyone direct me to the instructions for how to add these templates and
access them?

Thanks,

Gordo

If you want your own themes to show up on the Custom area of the Themes
gallery on the Design tab of the Ribbon, put them here:

(in Windows Vista)
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes

(in Windows XP) C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes
</quote>

This also applies to templates (POTX and POT) and presentation files (PPT /
PPS and PPTX / PPSX) and probably other PowerPoint file types as well.

Thank you very very much. I as well as many others certainly appreciate your
voluntary contributions to this group.

Regards,

Gordo
