Is there a way to overlap sounds in PPT7? I have a CD that runs through the
entire presentation, but I want to add a train whistle (on top of the music)
where the train goes by. As of now, CD stops, train whistle blows, then
nothing. The Help Menu does NOT help. Thanks in advance. CarolT

As well as what TAJ says some cards do better with LINKED sounds so if the
whistle sound is embedded try linking to it.

CT,

I believe this can be down to your particular sound card.

Some 'sound cards' can quite happily play 2 sound streams at the same time.

In other words, mix a new soundtrack file with train whistle sounds at the
appropriate point?
