Hello

Was wondering if someone could help me please.

I have successfully setup my email addres as I am able to receive emails. I
can't however send emails.

My problem is that my contacts have disappeared and when I try and open
addresses in the tool bar I get the message

Unable to open address book. The address book may not be installed properly.

I have recently changed service providers however this problem occured just
before the change over.

I need really simple steps to help me fix this problem I am not very
computer literate UNFORTUNATELY.

THANK YOU
Computer Novice

Are you using Outlook Express or Outlook? - two entirely different programs
And if Outlook what version?

DL

I'm using Outlook Express which was on Windows xp professional disk hope
that helps.

Background in short, I was sending and receiving emails ok then when I went
to turn the computer on just the other day and the contacts and address book
came up with this problem. Just amazing. I have NO IDEA.

Thanks

Then you need to post to an outlook express newsgroup, this group supports
Outlook
Generally they are under the Internet Explorer groups
