Post subject: Outlook Inbox Updates Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>general (more info?)
I have recently been seeing a problem where the number of new messages shows
for the Inbox, but the messages don't show in the list until I click on
another folder and then back to the Inbox. I have SP1 installed. Any
suggestions for a fix?

known issue, in windows firewall settings, make exception for program
outlook.exe

dlw - I have Windows firewall disabled and use McAfee. Does this change your
guidance?
