Post subject: Outlook Express 6 error code 550 Add to elertz
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>general (more info?)

I have been receiving this error:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Emailing: reason west.jpg', Account:
'pop.charter.net', Server: 'smtp.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '550 Message identified as SPAM - Please visit
http://www.charter.com/postmaster', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69

Charter says I am not blocked and is encouraging me to use there mail server
online. They say they can't help me with this because they are not
associated with outlook, and they believe this is outlook express error? Can
anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

I don't understand why they have the right to stop something before it gets
to me or to stop me from forwarding stationery that has been sent to me. Big
Brother! how is that for privacy????

Their server, their rules. You are accessing their network, their hardware.
Yes, you are paying for it, but they still have the final say over how you
use their equipment. You could vote with your $$$ by choosing another
provider. Assuming there is competition for your $$$ where you live. DSL
might, or might not, be available. EVDO, WISP, or something else.
