Post subject: Office 2007 Outlook 2007 and Vista Sp1 Outlook hangs on open fix
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>interop (more info?)

I am running VistaU SP1 and Office 2007. Quite regulary Outlook will open in
safe mode, but hang on normal open. I have to fix it by running Office
repair, and then it works fine for a while. Yes I have a small PST, cleaned
packed whatever. I know the default is to use Word to display email in
Outlook - I am thinking this is the issue. It is getting REALLY old to have
to run Office repair all the time.
Any other ideas?
