Post subject: OLE and Powerpoint
Hello,
This is my first post here so I may have put it in the wrong section but from what I have read from the other posts, this should be it.
I'm having a real headache with Power point's OLE, let me explain from the start :
I've been working for the last three months on a program (in VB.Net) that updates Excel worksheets with raw data each month, does a lot of adding up and statistics, and generates graphs and data tables.
From then a Powerpoint file takes up the job and is supposed to (thanks to OLE) update the graphs and data tables that are links from the previous Excel file I have been talking about.
On my computer this works like a charm, I have Office 2007 SP2 and Windows 7. On the company's I have done this for (equipped with Office 2007 and Windows XP) the graphs update OK on the power point, but the data charts are not found (they are unavailable).
I do not know what to do, patching Office has not proven efficient, and my boss is quite angry for the time being.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
