The Language Bar is installed and appears on my desktop. When any Office
2003 program is open the "Writing Pad and the "Write Anywhere" options do
not work. the Drawing Pad does work.

I have searched the Microsoft Knowledge Base and have checked all the
settings in Control Panel/Date, Time, Language, and Regional
Options/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Test services and input
languages/Details to no avail. The "Writing Pad and the "Write Anywhere"
options appear but do not work.

How can the "Writing Pad and the "Write Anywhere" options be activated?

I am having the exact same problem, and if you found a solution I would love
to know how you were able to resolve the issue.
