One way is to split your notepad file into two or more as required.

Is 65K the size or number of rows in your notepad file?
You can also copy a part and paste it in Excel and then convert via
Data|Text to Columns...

Excel version? Excel 2007 does not have this limitation.

You don't have to copy, when you open the text file the text import wizard
will open and it is the same as the data text to columns. In that wizard you
can set it to start importing at row 65536 for the second part. It is not
necessary to copy and paste or to split the
text file itself. Just import as much as you can then in the second batch
(next sheet)import from the last row plus 1 that was imported in the first
batch
