Post subject: Export from one Database to another Database
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>bcm (more info?)

Hello

Have just followed the MSFT notes on "Import and export business data in BCM
2007 - Outlook" which worked great with one exception. (I chose from the
Export wizard to export "ALL" and saved as a bcm file). All the business
contacts and opportunities with Histroy are present. I can still access
Notes and Email from history, but attached documents are no longer
available. The network path is still valid. But it just brings up a note
with the network path and filename. Is there some way to fix this?

Thanks & Regards, Tim

Does the network path work from a cmd window on the same machine where
BCM fails to open it.

The network path was OK. Subsequent documents that were linked to the new
database using the same network path were fine. It was just those documents
that were referred to from the imported data that threw up the note simply
referring to the file name and network path.
