Hello,
i got to something really strange:
I print one of my excelfiles and select "All worksheets" on my
"Microsoft Office Dokument Image Writer"-printer. If I do so, I get
asked for each sheet where I want to save the (image)file.
That means every sheet is saved as a separate file.
If i copy the content of the file (sheet by sheet) into a new excel
file and print that one the same way. Everything is saved to one image
file.
I think excel does several printjobs in the first case. If you print
to your regular printer it does not attract attention. But with the
image write i'll be asked for every file.
Why is that? Is there an option saying print each sheet separate? I
use Excel 2003 SP2.

I have the same problem. It also goes away by migrating sheets to
another file. Unless someone else can help with a better way to fix
this, I'd put it into the basket of "random microsoft bug".

I've just solved my own problem by experiementation - this may solve
the problem for you too. If adjacent worksheets in your group that
you choose to print have different properties for paper size and/or
dpi (set these under File - Page Setup), then it appears to tackle
each "change" in paper size and/or dpi as a separate job. The
workaround described above would work because you are copying content
to new worksheets which all share paper size and dpi settings.
I still think this is a bug - you should be able to mix and match
these settings within the one document - however the workaround I've
described is A LOT less time consuming.
All times are: Eastern Time (US & Canada) (change)
