Post subject: Email Invitations and Contacts - Any other way besides MailMerge? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>program_forms (more info?)
OK, I am sure someone has already asked this, but I could not find it.......
I need to be able to send mass email invitations to our customers for
seminars. contact info is stored in Access; I have created a folder in
contacts for this info; but need to know how to select all contacts in folder
for the email; and do not want to use word or mailmerge to word doc. The
invitation is an email (template with embedded graphics). I also want to
only show the recipent name in the TO: box; not everyone I send the message
to.

Why don't you want to use mail merge? It is by far the easiest way to
accomplish your goal -- and you don't even need to import the contacts into
Outlook.
