Post subject: Date format not working for Excel 2007
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>excel>crashesgpfs (more info?)

I am entering in a date (12/06/2008) --- December 6, 2008

When I channge the dat format on my cell (before or after I enter the date)
to date format 3/14/01 (m/dd/yy), it CHANGES my date to 6/12/08. Then Excel
reads this date as June 12, 2008

Why does this happen? And is the a fix for this?
