Tony's advice worked for me. Suggest anyone else experiencing this problem

I'm having the same issue but that service is already running on my machine.
Any other ideas?

Strange - I have the same problem on Office 2007 / Vista Business and the
service is running and everything is up to date.
Any ideas?
