Hi, I've used the custom maintenance wizard to modify an existing office
installation but for some reason it doesn't apply the changes to the
send/receive groups; Outlook 2003 has been configured to use a POP3
mailserver.

Does anyone know why these settings aren't being applied?

IIRC, the CMW doesn't do much with send/receive settings. What exactly are
you trying to change?

Doctor, can you tell me why the person in the town five miles away and whom
you've never seen is sick and what he has?

It would seem that the CMW options for adjusting send/receive groups only
work with exchange and i'm using POP3.

I'm trying to change the send and receive settings groups for outlook so it
only sends mail.

What are you trying to achieve by this?

Considering you are using Exchange, you can set incoming restrictions at
server/mailbox level already. There is no need to get Outlook involved into
this.
