No sure if I am in the correct newsgroup, but I want to convert multiple
Lotus WordPro files to Microsoft Word XP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Word cannot import native-format Lotus WordPro files. If you
still have WordPro, use it to "save as" to Word (.doc) or Rich
Text Format (.rtf) files, both of which Word can open. Or you
might consider a third-party conversion program such as Dataviz
Conversions Plus (
http://www.dataviz.com/products/conversionsplus/index.html ).

And if you don't have Wordpro and the cost of Dataviz is out of your
budget, consider a legal copy of WordPro included in Lotus SmartSuite
from http://www.directdeals.com/category-lotus-smartsuite.aspx, or
probably available on eBay as well. IBM used to give copies away with
every computer they sold (to customers who asked for a copy), so lots
of un-used copies are around somewhere.

The Vista operating system has no ability to open Word Pro files, but if you
have Word installed, see
