I'm trying to create a mailing list in excel, exported
from my Outlook contacts. Unfortunately, the first 2
pieces of address data are conacatenated into one column
of excel, separated by a character, which I assume to be a
carriage return(??) I've tried using the Convert Text to
Column but it simply deletes all text to the right of the
delimiter. Any suggestions?

I think I have run into this as well. I export the
Outlook data to Excel. when I open Excel I have something
that looks like two pipes ||. I copy the column into Word
and do a search and replace on ^l (this is the
shift+enter) or soft return. I replace the ^l with a ~
then copy the Word column back into Excel.

I hope this helps.
