Post subject: Contacts deleting when email fails to send Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>contacts (more info?)
When there is an issue sending mail, which causes the outgoing mail to get
bounced. On a few of our client computers Outlook appears to automatically
deleted this 'failed' email address from the contact list

I've never seen it. What type of account? What version of Outlook?

*sigh* - turns out the address was never in the contact list to start with,
even after swearing blind it was
