I just changed my cable-modem and now I keep getting the "Enter Network
Password" dialog box in OL2003 when I click Send/Receive. It already shows
a password in the field. Also, if I enter the password again (and put a
check in the Remember Password box), it still asks for the password again,
and again.

Which type of mail account(s) are you using?
If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again.

Thanks Roady.
I am using Pop3 mail accounts. Last night at midnight I got the answer. I
thought I would share it with others here, in case any of them had the same
problem. My isp exchanged my cable-modem yesterday. And since I got
internet access right away, I assumed everything was fine. Later I did a
send-receive with OL and had the problem. Since I had had that problem in
OL before, I assumed the problem was within OL. However, I tried accessing
my email using my isp's web-mail only to find that my password did not work
there either. So, I called my isp about it and discovered that they had
de-activated my email accounts, apparently in connection with the change of
the modem (and its mac address). Once we reactivated the accounts, it
worked fine.
Thanks again for you speedy help.
