Sometimes when certain people print to our HP LaserJet printers, the cell
borders print too high and a bit to the left. It isn't fixed by reinstalling
the printer on either the workstations or the server or by using different
PCL drivers.
We have LJ 5Si, LJ8000, and LJ8150 printers, but it seems to happen most to
the people using the 5Si and the 8150. Is there a known driver issue for this
problem?

Nobody here has seen or heard of "underline" borders being printed through
the text of the cell instead of beneath the text?
Nobody has any suggestions? We're still intermittently having the problem
and we can't think of anything else to try.

I have been having this same issues and having the internet say its a
print driver issue, but how can that be if all machines in the
building are using the same driver and they work fine. And the PC with
the problem printing can print other documents just fine with cells.
It left me to wonder what else can it be? Maybe the workbook is
incompatible with the version of excel? I did a control 'A' and copied
the selection to a bran new workbook and hit print and everything work
out fine in the alignment.
How old are your excel documents that are having issues. May try what
I did to see if it prints fine. Sorry I can't be anymore help I'm
trying to figure it out just like your self.
