Post subject: Calendar item won't open. Why? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>outlook>calendaring (more info?)
When I double click on to an event on my calendar to read the previously
entered details, it won't open. I double click on it and nothing happens. I
don't remember changing anything. Do you know what I may have done or how to
get it back?

Just to clarify:
When you double click on a specific event on your calendar, it won't open?
Do you get an error?
Are you able to open other items in your calendar?
What version of Outlook do you use?

When I double click on any event, nothing happens. No error message, no
nothing. It just sits there. I'm using Outlook 2003. As a post scrip; I
rebooted and it got fixed, but I'd still like to know what caused it to quit
working correctly. Any thoughts?

Could have been anything. I would not worry about it now that it
has corrected itself.

This can happen if you have more than one copy of OUTLOOK.EXE in the
Processes tab of Task Manager.
