Post subject: Automatic Updating Add to elertz

I am working on a document that was created a few years ago. When I update formatting, like say, underline a subheading, Word will change everything in the document to underlined. I mean everything. When I click on undo, it says Undo Automatic Update Style.

Any clues how to shut this off? I have looked in AutoFormat but that does not have anything to stop this from happening.
