I am running Outlook 2007. I have my Calendar set to archive items older
than 6 months. However, I have items dating back to 2005. Any ideas to
remedy the problem?

the date Outlook goes by is the date last modified. So if you have moved
those old appointments or done anything to them, they will have a modified
date that's not the date of the meeting.

Nonetheless, did you examine them by adding the Modified field to the header
bar?

so you have been using Outlook 2007 since 2005 have you? I think but am not
100% certain that those items must have been modified to move into Outlook
2007.
