I am fairly new to Front Page. When I have a button on a page, how can I
create it so that when I move the cursor over the button a drop down menu
will show up with different selections where to take you? I'm not even sure
what to call this feature.
Thank You

I call it a flyout or drop down menu.

See:
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/jonspivey/menus/index.html

(mainly) CSS (all versions of FrontPage):

May I jump in with a really dumb Q?

The drop down menus have a script that goes in the head section and html
code that goes in the body. I want the links in my left shared border to
drop down. But do I treat shared borders the same way I would a regular
page? ie open the border/left and insert the head script and the body html,
or do it all on the index page, or put the head in the border/left and the
body in the index? ???? It make sense to add it all into the border/left, but
it did not seem to work is why I am asking. Sorry, I know it's dumb, be
gentle. thanks

The JavaScript will have to be placed in the head in every page, and the
HTML into the shared border. If you are using FrontPage 2003, you will
be better off using a Dynamic Web Template instead of shared borders.
All the code (script and HTML) goes into the DWT.

Thanks Ronx, exactly the kind of help I was hoping for. As per your
suggestion, I will look into DWT ASAP. All the best.
