Post subject: I Can NOT get DREAMWEAVER to connect!

I have been doing sites for a while and have no idea why I keep getting this
message.

I have tried adjusting every parameter possible to no avail. Any ideas?

Using FTP Transmit (Mac FTP prog) it is fine.

Have you tried the host name without www (just nario.com)?

or try the IP address .. an ftp address is ftp.yoursite.com .

Also for the "what folder on the server" .. if you store your files in the
remote root of your site, leave that blank. At any rate, it doesn't take a
URL.

Yes, using jusft aarip.com worked, but now i see no folders.....or files...just
a blank www.narip.com folder...

yikes...project due tomorrow of course and there where no problems last week.
Isn't this always how it is?

Please help....will delete site and start over to see what happens.

OK, deleted the site, still no files.

Can see them using transmit (FTP) program but with DW, all I see is a folder that says www.narip.com

Ideas?

I'm just wondering here, but if you can see everything fine with another FTP
program, and time is of the essence, why not just use the other FTP program
until you get the project completed, then work on the DW FTP issue later? I've
always found that I think more clearly when not rushed and stressed out.
